I’ve only been to Flamborough a couple of times with my camera and never really appreciated it until recently. An amazing landscape that I have only scratched the surface of. I love discovering places that inspire me and recharges the soul. Something that is becoming more of a necessity as I get older.
Early Mornings at Bridlington and Hornsea, East Yorkshire Coast.
So late in 2016 I decided to start a project photographing the Yorkshire coast. I spent much of my youth at places like Scarborough, Bridlington, Hornsea, Barmston and Fraisthorpe and re-visiting this coastline has been a healing journey. I’ve fallen in love with these beaches again. I don’t know what it is about the seashore, but every time I visit I come away refreshed and renewed.
