Spring is almost here again and the Snowdrops are creeping out. Also a chance to play around with a new lens – the Micro Nikkor 60mm AF-D. First time playing with a macro lens and first time using an adapted lens on the X-T3. I’ve been really impressed with it’s sharpness and the detail it resolves, even though close-up the depth of field at F2.8 and F4 is almost razor thin, so a challenge to nail and keep focus. It has certainly injected a little fun back into my photography 🙂 and that’s never a bad thing.

Given the recent news in the UK this weekend, it’s easy to feel despondent – like we will never get back to normal. Winter can always be a gloomy season, but it doesn’t last forever. Things end, but they lead to new beginnings.
